Ashley Sherriff,

Registered Massage Therapist

In 2012 I graduated from Humber College obtaining an advanced Diploma, and became registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. I have worked in a few different locations since being registered, which has given me the opportunity to work with a variety of clientele. I have experience with MVA, WSIB, concussions, stress relief, acute or chronic injuries, weekend warriors, regular maintenance, postural dysfunctions, pre/postnatal, infants, children, sport injuries, geriatric, and hospice/hospital settings. General Swedish massage techniques are the ones taught in school, and I have expanded mine with a few courses: Neuromuscular Integration and Structural Alignment, Acupressure level 1&2, Positional Release Technique, and Reiki Level 1, and pregnancy/infant.

I want to take my focus of practice more towards a holistic approach to treatment. As I have learned through treating, emotional stressors can show up in the body as physical dysfunctions, and then manifest themselves. I have always and will continue to treat each person individually, and focus the treatment on achieving the goals that have been set out by my client. Currently, I am instructing at a local college for the massage therapy program.

Dr. Sarah Beker,

Chiropractor

Dr. Sarah’s interest in chiropractic care began long before her professional training. Growing up as a competitive dancer, she gained firsthand experience with injuries, rehabilitation, and the value of healthy movement. It wasn’t until she underwent chiropractic treatment following a motor vehicle accident that she truly recognized the profound impact this profession can have. That experience solidified her decision to pursue a career dedicated to helping others move and feel their best.

Dr. Sarah earned her Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2022 and went on to complete her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Northeast College of Health Sciences in December 2025. During her education, she cultivated a strong appreciation for evidence-informed, hands-on care and the importance of empowering patients in their own recovery.

In her clinical approach, Dr. Sarah utilizes diversified chiropractic adjustments, manual joint and soft-tissue mobilizations, activator-assisted techniques, and tailored home exercise and stretching programs. She also integrates kinesiotaping, cupping, muscle scraping, and provides custom orthotics to enhance healing, improve mobility, and support long-term wellness. She is committed to identifying and addressing the underlying cause of symptoms to promote meaningful, lasting results. Her guiding belief is that movement is essential to health, and everyone should feel confident in their ability to move well.

Dr. Sarah enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan and has particular interests in sports-related injuries, pediatric care, and pregnancy support. She strives to create a welcoming, patient-centered environment where people feel listened to, supported, and motivated throughout their treatment.

Outside of practice, Sarah loves golfing, crocheting, binge-watching her favourite shows, baking, and spending time with her family, friends, and dogs.

She is excited to partner with you on your health journey—helping you feel and function at your best, one stretch, step, and adjustment at a time.

Laura Chobrda,

Certified Reflexologist

Laura received her Foot Reflexology certification in 2009 from the Ontario College of Reflexology. She is very happy to be using her reflexology skills professionally at Massage Addict. She finds it rewarding to see clients experience relaxation and an overall reduction in tension and stress in their body as her treatments regulate the nervous system by stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system which reduces or 'dials down' the effects of an overactive sympathetic nervous system (our body's stress response). This results in a more relaxed state in the body which also promotes better digestion and sleep, a mild detoxification of toxins in the body, and a better flow of life force energy, also known as prana or chi, where one is more centred and has a greater sense of vitality. Laura plans on studying for a certification in Face Reflexology in 2026. She is also taking a refresher course in Yoga Teacher Training to be completed in 2026.

Tanzi Bender,

I discovered reflexology in 2020 after experiencing its incredible benefits for stress relief firsthand. I felt inspired by how it supported my own well-being so I trained in reflexology to share this holistic practice with others.

Reflexology isn’t just a foot massage— it’s a whole body approach to wellness. By stimulating key points on the feet reflexology can soothe the nervous system, aid digestion, and support healthy circulation in a gentle, safe way.

I love helping people enjoy this super relaxing and refreshing experience and believe it can be a wonderful boost to your self-care routine.
