The Massage Addict Student Massage Therapy Program is open to both first- and second year students currently enrolled in a Massage Therapy program within the province of Alberta.

 

The Massage Addict Experience

Our massage-focused clinics provide a dynamic and supportive team-oriented atmosphere where practitioners are encouraged to share their knowledge and cross promote their expertise. You’ll join a welcoming team of RMTs, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, and Reflexologists in a nurturing and professional environment dedicated to supporting you and your future career. Plus, you’ll have the chance to collaborate with and learn from our Guest Service Associates and local Clinic Owners as you progress through your program.

Benefits of the Alberta Student Massage Therapy program include:

First Year Students

  • Opportunity to complete your practicum hours in a multidisciplinary, clinical setting.
  • Partner with our Guest Service Associates and local Clinic Owners to learn and complete the daily business requirements.
  • Access to high quality treatment rooms with hydraulic tables, allowing you to develop your practical skills by treating practitioners, friends, and family, all while fulfilling your practicum requirements.

Second Year Students

  • Transition into a paid Student Massage Therapist in the clinic upon completion of the required 1,250 first year hours.
  • Grow your network and skill set while treating clients of the clinic and collaborating with additional healthcare practitioners such as chiropractors, acupuncturists, and reflexologists in a positive client-centric environment.
  • Potential to continue post-graduation in a Registered Massage Therapist position, upon completion of the full 2,200-hour program
