Massage Addict’s Excellence in Massage Therapy and Excellence in Acupuncture annual scholarships or merit award program offers financial incentives to a Massage Therapy or Acupuncture student that best exemplifies a balance between scholastic achievement, community involvement, an overall passion for the profession.
The Massage Addict BC Intern Program is a short-term relationship between a fully graduated Massage Therapy student who is waiting to write their CMTBC Provincial Board Exams (Massage Intern) and an experienced Registered Massage Therapist (Mentor).
The Massage Addict Student Massage Therapy Program is open to both first- and second year students currently enrolled in a Massage Therapy program within the province of Alberta to gain hands-on practicum hours within a clinical setting.
The Massage Addict & MaKami College Student Massage Therapy Program is open to students currently enrolled in a Massage Therapy program at a MaKami College campus. This program gives students the opportunity to gain first-hand experience in a nurturing and professional multi-disciplinary environment.
To help ensure Massage Therapy students get their required outreach hours to complete their Massage Therapy program, Massage Addict gladly welcomes them and their instructors into our clinics so that they can get the hands-on outreach hours they need.
Students can make money while in school by working at a local Massage Addict clinic. This position is a great way to learn how a clinic operates, interact with other therapists and get to know what a day in the life of a Massage Therapist, Chiropractor, Reflexologists and/or Acupuncturist is really like.
We regularly visit the Massage Therapy and Chiropractic Care classrooms across Canada, both virtually and in person, and to share our knowledge, insights and inspiration with all students and soon-to-be graduates. We happily answer all questions about Massage Addict and what it’s like to work in a busy clinic.
Massage Addict has partnership with the Canadian Council of Massage Therapy Schools (CCMTS) as the co-sponsorship of the CCMTS Excellence in Research and Interpretive Studies Annual Competition.
Massage Addict Tuition Reimbursement Program gives recent Massage Therapy graduates the opportunity to receive tuition reimbursement* in addition to compensation received from working within a Massage Addict clinic.
